Announced at the Detroit Motor Show 2012, the convertible version of the powerful coupe, V8 Engine 659 hp and 813 Nm of torque, to have so much air in your hair.

In fact at NAIAS 2012 (North American International Auto Show) in the city of Michigan, home of Ford, Chrysler and General Motors, is expected debut of the Ford Shelby GT500 convertible, coupe and convertible guise of the Ford Shelby GT500, which we saw at the LA Auto Show 2011.

The numbers of Sherlby GT500 convertible version of the coupe are the same and that is 659 hp (485 kW) and 813 Nm of torque, delivered by a 5,800 cm3 V8 engine mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, modified to suit the ‘exuberant engine.
Already identified its direct competitor, the Camaro ZL1 Convertible, but also the new German roadster Mercedes SL and Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet (also at the world debut in Detroit) should beware of aggressive Shelby.
