BMW M Performance

BMW introduces its new range of BMW M Performance vehicles includes four models: M550d xDrive sedan and touring, X5 and X6 M50d. On arrival at the Geneva Motor Show.
BMW M range arriving at Geneva Performance
The range of BMW M performance diesel for some time when you spoke, was officially presented these days by the German company has unveiled four models that are part of that range. They are in the order the BMW xDrive M550d (in both sedan and touring), the X5 and the X6 M50d.


All models are now equipped with the new tri-turbo engine 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder diesel engine that develops 381 hp and 740 Nm of torque. With the tri-turbo performance diesel engine performance M vehicles are unbelievable, especially if we go to watch the sprint from 0 to 100 km / h for each model:
- BMW xDrive M550d: 4.7 seconds
- BMW xDrive M550d Touring: 4.9 seconds
- BMW X5 M50d: 5.4 seconds
- BMW X6 M50d: 5.3 seconds

The M range performance with advanced technology
The range M Performance adopt an eight-speed sports transmission to automatic, xDrive all-wheel drive, Auto Start-Stop System and aerodynamic body kit typical of M-Sport. Other features are the aesthetic side mirrors “gray metallic”, trapezoidal exhaust, alloy wheels M 19 “to 20″. The symbol M is a little ‘everywhere, from the sill to the rear of the car to the instrument console. Even the engine cover are the badge “M Performance.”



Internal value for the range M Performance
As regards the other hand the interior, Alcantara and Nappa leather sports seats embellish found in black (X5 and X6) or Grey Shadow (M550d), with contrast stitching and logo M. The steering wheel is leather on the steering wheel while changing the finish of many components are in Brushed Aluminium (X5 and X6) or Aluminum Hexagon (X5 and X6).
The world premiere performance of the M range diesel is expected in March at the Geneva Motor Show, with sales starting in May, at least for the German market.
